About The Waivz
The Waivz are a live music duo from Melbourne’s Bayside, blending smooth harmonies, classic hits, and coastal vibes. Connie Leander (vocals/guitar) and Mathew Petraitis (cajón & drums/vocals) began performing on Aspendale Beach and have since brought their unique sound to venues and private events across the region.
With a mix of live instruments, high-quality backing tracks, and a dance-friendly setlist from the ‘70s to today, The Waivz create a full, feel-good experience. Their shows often invite the crowd to join in with percussion instruments, adding an interactive and playful vibe.
